MSF Netherlands Association

There are many important moments during the MSF-NL General Assembly, and one of the most important is the Association’s vote to support the management and governance of MSF-NL each year. This is done by a vote to approve the annual Board Report and Financial Statements.

This vote is a key accountability moment for the Board and the Association. The Board will present the work MSF-NL had done over the past year, before taking questions from members. The members will then vote to approve (or not!) the Board’s implementation of the authority vested in them by the Association.

At the 2023 General Assembly: Voting on the 2022 Annual Report

At the 2023 General Assembly, the Association approved the 2022 Annual Report, comprising of the 2022 Financial Statements and the 2022 Board Report. The Association had the opportunity to raise questions to the Board on their governance of MSF-NL before they vote. This happened during a dedicated session at the General Assembly.

The approval of the Financial Statements and the Board Report coincides with the decision of the Association to discharge the Board from liability for the governance of the organisation during 2022.
